Full Time & Part Time Retail Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a FULL-TIME and a PART-TIME pharmacy assistant to join our retail team to work in our busy 7-day pharmacy.
You must be customer focused and be a supportive team member to the retail and dispensary teams in providing a caring service with excellent healthcare outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role preferred- at least 2 years
- Knowledge of pharmacy products and medications is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications and transactions
- Basic computer skills
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and committed to providing exceptional service
- Knowledge of the TONIQ POS Retail System would be a great advantage but full training will be provided
- Must have New Zealand Citizenship or New Zealand permanent residency or a work visa allowing you to work in New Zealand, with no restrictions.
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Serving customers and giving out prescriptions
- Process sales transactions and handle cash transactions accurately
- Provide customers with appropriate advice on retail products
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy
- Assist in stock management, restock of shelves and merchandising
