We are a well-established pharmacy located in the beautiful town of Stratford, New Zealand. Our pharmacy is committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to the local community. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Intern (Technician) to join our friendly team.
Key Responsibilities:
Medication Preparation and Dispensing:
Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
Ensure all medications are properly labelled and packaged.
Maintain accurate patient records and medication histories.
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and customers.
Answer customer inquiries about medications and over-the-counter products.
Offer advice on general health and well-being under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages.
Handle expired or damaged stock in accordance with regulations.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain clean and organised work areas, including the dispensary and storage areas.
Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation as required.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.
